"I purchased this for my mom who is suffering from pulmonary fibrosis. She requires supplemental oxygen at all times. While sleeping, she would remove the nasal cannula providing her oxygen. We are able to sleep well at night since she started using this monitor. We set it to go off with a "strong" alarm if her O2 drops below 90%. She wakes up immediately, puts her nasal cannula back in and goes back to sleep."
